Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-timeAre you a compassionate and dedicated individual eager to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential?GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Sheffield, S9. As an SEMH TA, you will provide tailored support to students with SEN, assisting them in both academic and social development and helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Patience, resilience, and adaptability in supporting children with diverse needs.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
