Experienced SEND Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in SurreyOn behalf of our esteemed client, a well-regarded secondary school in Surrey with a strong commitment to inclusive education, we are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).The RoleAs a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their academic and personal growth. This role involves close collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs and abilities.
• Deliver differentiated instruction and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Provide emotional and behavioral support to students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in special education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Post-graduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students with SEN.
