Female Teaching Assistant (with Intimate Care Duties)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full Academic Year (Subject to Review)

Recruiter: Principal EducationPrincipal Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive school that is seeking a dedicated Female Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role involves providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils, including intimate care responsibilities for female students with additional needs.Key Details:

• Role: Female Teaching Assistant (with Intimate Care duties)
• Start: September 2025
• Duration: Full academic year (subject to performance and ongoing student needs)
• Hours: Full-time, term-time only
• Location: Tower Hamlets

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the learning and development of female students with additional needs
• Assisting with personal care routines, including intimate care
• Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion
• Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to provide consistent support
• Maintaining accurate records and upholding safeguarding and confidentiality protocols

Requirements:

• Female TA (in line with the school’s specific care needs and in compliance with Equality Act exemptions)
• Prior experience in a care or SEN support setting is highly desirable
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional
• Comfortable and confident in providing intimate care (training can be provided)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
