<div class="isg-job-description“>Rantec Microwave Systems is a fast-growing defense contract manufacturing company seeking a skilled and reliable Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. As an integral member of our organization, you’ll manage financial transactions, produce accurate financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who understands the unique financial requirements of government contracting and the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:

• Perform regular account analysis and reconciliations.
• Track and analyze production costs, overhead and variances.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports specific to manufacturing operations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Prepare workpapers for annual CPA Review.
• Assist and train users on Costpoint ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Document accounting standard operating procedures.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with FAR, DCAA guidelines, and government contract accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP).

education/experience:

• Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a minimum of 5 years of related Accounting experience.
• Experience in defense contracting or government compliance.
