We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join our team in Cwmbran, supporting residents during the quiet hours of the night with warmth, respect, and reassurance.This is more than a night job-it’s an opportunity to bring comfort and dignity when it matters most.About the RoleAs a Senior Care Assistant (Nights), you’ll be the go-to support during overnight hours-ensuring our residents are safe, comfortable, and cared for while guiding and supporting your night shift team.Key Responsibilities:Deliver personal and emotional care with sensitivity and respectSupport residents with toileting, repositioning, and mobility needsMonitor health and wellbeing throughout the nightAdminister medication safely (as authorised)Accurately complete night reports, charts, and handoversMaintain a calm, homely environmentSupervise night staff and act as a shift leaderCommunicate with on-call staff or emergency services if necessaryWhat We’re Looking For:NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential)NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards it (desirable)Experience in a care setting, especially with older adultsMedication training and understanding of safe administratio✅ Proven ability to lead shifts and support team membersExperience with care plans, documentation, and risk assessmentsA calm, confident, and caring approach to night careExcellent communication and attention to detailWhat You’ll Gain:A supportive, close-knit night team
