Responsible for Commercial Analytics, Planning, CRM and Budgeting for Canada. Opportunity to work closely with the Sr. Director of Canada Commercial and the Director of Commercial Planning as well as regional leadership teams.Role Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) program to help drive best-in-class execution, ultimately supporting achievement of financial growth targets i.e. attainment of Distribution, Menu, Display, Shelf, and eCommerce targets.
- Manage the creation of the sales KPI goaling methodology and implementation as part of the bi-annual planning process.
- Build out enhanced KPIs for specialized internal roles (e.g. On-Premise Portfolio Managers).
- Communicate Sales Plan and KPI guidelines to national sales org and leaders.
- Analyze commercial program execution and impact to evaluate performance and promote continued financial improvement.
- Propose enhanced execution strategies against key growth opportunities to shape KPIs (e.g. Category development insights, display effectiveness, drink strategy, channel roadmaps), collaborating with key sales and marketing stakeholders to implement feedback.
- Work with MDC to Track and clearly communicate highly visible results and opportunities to Sales leadership, Marketing, and distribution partners for KPIs, key incentive programs and other ad-hoc initiatives. • Lead trainings for cross-functional teams on KPI strategy and reporting tools.
- Primary owner of vendor partner relationship (AForza), leading design and implementing enhancements to enable Execution KPI reporting (Menu, Display, Shelf).
- Collaborate with IT to ensure proper deployment of KPI planning models (Goal Planning in Anaplan) and act as primary stakeholder in IT-led projects, supporting design of financial reporting and KPI dashboards for sales teams. – Manage the data lake and create ad hoc reporting as needed for the Commercial teams.
- Partner with Commercial Strategy to operationalize and implement strategic initiatives developed in conjunction with Senior Leadership.
- Perform in-depth analysis of pricing, margins, rates, and available TS/BI Budgets to identify the key drivers of the Commercial Results utilizing local and standardized tools such as the Funds Management Tool, Program Calendar, and applicable centralized Commercial Finance reports.
- Identify key pricing and channel opportunities; Collaborate with SGS Finance and Commercial teams adjust pricing and building the annual business plan.
- Align with Commercial and Field Marketing in creating and structuring effective volume, revenue and profit driving deals and promotions.
- Provide post program analysis, ROI & Actuals vs. Budget; solutions to increase ROI/NSV/GP.
- Identify inventory issues within value chain including communication of allocated brands.
- Key conduit for customer service issues and distributor strategy on allocations, OOS, and aged inventory clearing.
- Prepare and submit the Innovation Forecast Template (IFT) as needed.
- Spend time with data and in market to highlight current/future trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous spirits industry experience preferred.
- 3-5 years consumer products sales experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Pricing, Budgeting, and Sales Planning.
- Budget development and management experience.
- Excellent written/oral communication and business analytical skills.
- Demonstrated MS Office proficiency in Excel and PPT.
