The Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment provides corporations, governments and law firms around the globe with the industry’s most complete range of multidisciplinary, independent dispute advisory, investigative, data acquisition/analysis and forensic accounting services. In addition to partnering with our clients to transform their approach to the asset lifecycle, we regularly fulfill project and operations management roles for clients around the world, leveraging the strength of FTI Consulting’s best practices and technology. What You’ll Do

The Senior Consultant will be leading/working as part of a team to assist clients through complex issues as related to the construction industry. Services provided will include both project advisory support as well as dispute resolution related to large, complex construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

Provide analysis and preparation of construction claims, CPM schedules and/or construction cost information
Perform dispute related analyses such as delay, impact, differing site conditions, cost and damage as well as lost productivity analyses
Prepare labor productivity studies
Perform detailed project and program reviews for large capital programs
Provide assistance and oversight of large capital projects and programs
Implement or assist with corrective action plans related to the “recovery” of large capital projects
Conduct business process assessments and development of business
Oversee processes for the successful execution and management of large capital projects
Train, and mentor a support group of professionals who specialize in construction industry consulting and related litigation support

How You’ll Grow

You will gain experience in communication and presentation skills
You will gain efficiencies in maintaining detailed working paper records of reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all tasks
You will be involved in presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties to provide updates and/or present findings

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
3+ years of years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in the construction industry or a related profession
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in capital projects management, construction claims and critical path method (CPM) scheduling experience.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), mathematical, and organizational skills
Proficient knowledge of PC environment and related software including Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Primavera (P6)
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project
