Job Description

The experienced GW Developer is a member of the project team who takes responsibility for implementing parts of the system architecture using best practices in an agile development environment. This will include coding using design patterns, incorporating best practices, unit testing, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system.

• Responsible for design, development, implementation & unit testing of solutions for various modules in core Insurance systems of Guidewire – Claims Center or Billing Center or Policy Centre.

Responsibilities

• Total development experience of 3-8 yrs including minimum 3+ yrs of hands-on experience in either of the GW Insurance systems of PC/BC/CC/Portal.
• Hands on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns, OOPs, UML, Object Oriented analysis and design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in complex application stacks

Good to have:

• Certified in Guidewire (any module).
• Experience with REST web services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University with > 65% Academic score.
