Senior Consultant- SAP BW/HANA Consultant

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP BW HANA Consultant.

As Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications for Senior SAP BW HANA Consultant.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
• The location for this position is Dallas, TX. The Position may require travel and/or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior SAP BW HANA Consultant

• At least 4 years of experience in SAP BW Native HANA.
• Experience on SAP HANA is an advantage.
• Desired experience on SAP BOBI 4.1 and SAP BW 7.4.
• Knowledge of Cross Functional modules like SAP FICO, HR, SD, MM.
• Experience on ABAP/4, SAP BI Security skill requirement.
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• To facilitate the implementation and support of SAP BW 7.3/7.4 & SAP Business objects 4.0/4.1 to enhance the clients business.
• Ability to work across multiple teams within the IT organization. Must be able to affectively work with Key management and stakeholders and be able to clearly communicate project status updates.
• Ensure that all SAP related development follow standards for SAP development and complies with procedures and policies including audit and validation requirements.
• Document and update the existing SAP environment and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment.
• Understand and assess the business customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solution.
• Should be able to design and develop customer requirements into Functional and technical specifications and document the relevant.
• Conduct implementation & training workshops: This is particularly required for SAP Power users and then guidance for end-user training.
• Provide guidance on test plan. How to test SAP functionality for the required Business processes and ensure that all scenarios are covered.
• Excellent customer interfacing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
