The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Advisory Team, specializing in both Information Management and Strategic Consulting for Capital Projects & Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will offer a combination of deep technical expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management alongside robust strategic consulting skills. This role is crucial for advising clients on complex issues related to project management, strategy formulation, financial modelling and operational efficiency within the infrastructure and construction sectors.
- You will be collaborating with clients to understand their strategic objectives and operational challenges within the Capital Projects & Infrastructure domain. Oversee the development and embedding of information management strategies in compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
- You will design, implement, and maintain information requirements documentation and BIM execution plans to facilitate effective information exchange. Manage and enhance data management capabilities using advanced data technology tools. Navigate contractual implications of information requirements and change control, ensuring compliance and minimising risk.
- You will be intended to lead communication and engagement with suppliers regarding information deliverables; collaborate with BIM and information managers to articulate and fulfil requirements. Demonstrate strong leadership in project management, ensuring timely and successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
- You will be involved in Conducting business analysis to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions, aligning strategic plans with client business objectives and cultivating and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and solutions that meet their specific needs.
- You will be preparing and delivering high-quality presentations, reports, and business cases to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior management. Actively contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking activities to secure new opportunities and grow the business.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with significant expertise in both technical and strategic consulting aspects within infrastructure and construction industries with Degree in Engineering or Technology. Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with Information Management and BIM Certifications
- Extensive experience in infrastructure project delivery and information management across large capital and construction projects.
- In-depth technical knowledge in designing and implementing information management strategies aligned with BS1192 and ISO 19650.Strong commercial awareness with a solid understanding of the contractual aspects of information requirements and change management.
- Advanced skills in data management and the use of relevant technology tools to support effective information management. Proven track record in business development, advisory work, Proven track record in leadership and project management within complex project environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and business analysis capabilities to deliver customized solutions. Knowledge of business process re-engineering and the integration of digital transformation strategies and digital transformation and change management principles.
- Awareness of how to integrate information and data across different systems to ensure seamless operations. Familiarity with CDE systems like ACC, Asite, ProjectWise, and MIDP management tools.
