Connect to your skills and professional experience

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills and experience in the following:

  • Delivering/designing operating models and identifying areas of innovation/operational improvement within existing operating models.
  • Evaluating and using emerging and innovative technologies or ways of thinking to shape strategy; design operating models, principles and roadmaps; and govern and deliver transformation programmes.
  • Process analysis and improvement across the core end-to-end processes of a consumer business (for example Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or New Product Introduction).
  • Developing business cases and identifying and/or delivering sustainable cost savings in collaboration with senior clients.
  • Developing methodical approaches to research and analysing large qualitative and quantitative data sets to shape recommendations.
  • Managing relationships as well as written and verbal communication across a broad range of stakeholder groups from operational to executive-level.
  • Leading small project teams and components of engagements and identifying opportunities for the firm to improve engagement profitability.
  • Organising insights to define a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations.

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Industry knowledge and experience driving strategic improvements from functional roles within the consumer sector, for example within the operations, supply chain or commercial functions
  • Experience either as an employee or consultant/contractor in one or more of the following industries:
  • Food Services and Catering
  • Transportation and Logistics
  • Travel and Aviation
  • Hotels, Restaurants, Hospitality, Resorts, Gaming, Health and Fitness
  • Service businesses (for example Professional, Human Capital, Business or Infrastructure)
  • Previous consulting experience, whether as an independent advisor or in-house

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your “Immediate Family Members” are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm). Our hybrid working policy

You’ll be based in United Kingdom with hybrid working. Our hybrid model enables our people to collaborate, connect and innovate in both a virtual and physical capacity. As well as remote working, you’ll attend your local office, virtual collaboration spaces and client sites, depending on the requirements of the role.
