What We Do
Establish, build, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with assigned Trust Accounting clients. Provide full-service reconciliation (from 1st tier/routine to 2nd tier/complex) to our escrow and title partners focusing on complex customer issues. Analyze customer needs, identify problems, research issues, and recommend solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Compare financial records:Reconciliation specialists examine a company’s escrow accounting records, such as ledgers and bank statements, to ensure they match
- Identify discrepancies:They look for any inconsistencies or errors between different financial sources
- Investigate and resolve:When discrepancies are found, they investigate the causes and work with clients to resolve them
- Ensure accuracy:Their primary goal is to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years of directly relevant reconciliation, accounting, or audit work experience, mortgage or title insurance industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and demonstrate the ability to learn custom applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with financial software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
