In this role you will be responsible for the planning and execution of SHN’s digital roadmap. You will work with technical teams and business partners to ensure that projects achieve business objectives and are delivered on time. In doing this, you will follow project management methodology, ensuring that the solution implemented is both supportable and sustainable.Reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO, the Senior Digital Project Manager, will be accountable for the execution of project processes and deliverables in line with the project plan, including planning, program communications, risk and issue tracking, and scope management.What You’ll Do:The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Lead end-to-end plan and delivery management of technical solutions for business and technology initiatives.
- Establish an overall project plan from project initiation to business training and handoff, in compliance with defined project management methodology.
- Track detailed project plans, manage and work alongside integrated teams, and communicate status and priorities through succinct updates.
- Identify, assess, rank, and track all project risks and issues ensuring mitigation requirements are clearly documented and if required escalated to program leadership.
- Plan and execute change management activities to ensure successful business readiness for all technical product delivery.
- Enable and cultivate relationship management and partner communication.
- Management of cross-team dependencies, including scoping, planning, prioritization, escalation, capacity planning, and cross-functional alignment.
- Work closely with both internal stakeholders (i.e., Business, Infrastructure, Information Security, System/Application Development Teams, and external partners/vendors) to understand and communicate to the evolution of the business to ensure accurate planning and strategizing around technology
- Partner and collaborate with product, technology, business, and cross-functional partners to support business objectives through plan definition management, delivery management, proactive resolution of project risks/issues, and cross-functional roadmap efficiencies
- Oversee the creation of functional and non-functional requirements to ensure alignment with project charter and/or definition statement; track and document all requested scope changes as per the project and change management process.
- Financial Management – develop and actively manage a budget and resource plan.
- Provide clear, consistent, and timely messaging; both verbal and written; within the team and to technology and business leadership; facilitate effective and timely meetings
- Gain the confidence of the business by providing stable systems/environment, delivery with a sense of urgency and coping with business changes effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure established business processes are followed
What you Bring:
- University degree required in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Sciences)
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience leading and launching large-scale IT projects
- Leadership ability handling critical initiatives and the inter-dependencies between multiple workstreams, teams, and outcomes using agile/scrum methodologies while driving clear action and ownership
- Project Management Professional (PMP), strongly preferred
- Experience mentoring and coaching peers and functional colleagues
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills including ability to work in a multi-functional environment, communicating with all levels of the organization, and ensuring sound vendor management
- Experience articulating technical constructs and concepts to non-technical partners
- Monitor and report on progress, problems, and proposed solutions as it relates to key program initiatives and escalate issues as appropriate
- Demonstrating effectiveness at leading and working with teams
- Experience organizing and facilitating meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and embrace change in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Demonstrated leadership and a proven ability to influence decision-makers at all levels within the
organization without authority * Proficient use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and JIRA/Confluence
- Experience in Salesforce products preferred
