Senior Electronic Technician needed for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Santa Clara, California.
Pay Rate: $50 to $60 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Hands-on experience in electrical validation and troubleshooting, and a passion for precision and quality.
• Must have background in electrical test and validation, either in a MFG test group, RMA product diagnostics/repair team, or supporting an ENG design team
• Can operate oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test equipment independently
• Ability so solder/desolder/rework SMT PCBs of current technology sizes
• General low voltage electrical knowledge 0-24V
• General electro-mechanical assembly / disassembly understanding ESD mitigation
• Can make electrical cables from sketches
• Highly detail oriented, need careful and disciplined execution of tasks with a lot of steps
• Understands various board level communication standards such as SPI and I2C

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Ability to find alternate sources of OEM components… e.g. if we cannot get capacitor PN X, they can find a comparable part more readily available
• Semiconductor equipment manufacturing background
• Minimum of seven (7) years of practical experience
  

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known as Preferred Qualifications:

• Understands various board level communication standards such as SPI and I2C
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
