Exciting Opportunity at MSK:Senior Manager, Community Engagement & Health Equity
At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), our mission to end cancer for life extends beyond our walls and into the communities we serve. The Senior Manager, Community Engagement & Health Equity helps advancehealthequityby building partnerships, strengthening trust, and driving data-informed programs that improve community health outcomes.
Role Overview
Overseeimplementation ofMSK’sCommunity Service Plan,supporting coordination ofmulti-department projects focused on cancer education, screenings, and social determinants of health.
Manage community partner engagement,KPItracking, impact reporting, and support the triannual community needs assessment.
Regularlyconveneexternal partnersas well asinternalstaffconducting community-facing work.
Gather and synthesize community insights to inform marketing, communications, and enterprise health equity initiatives.
Collaborate with IT partners tooptimizeand expand adoption of the Community Affairs Salesforce database.
Develop anddisseminatethe quarterlyCommunity Matterse-newsletter and other materials that strengthen community awareness ofMSK‘scommunity work.
Maintain and update community engagement content on msk.org and OneMSK.
Support relationships with key external partners, coordinating eventlogistics, staffing activities, and managing volunteers as needed.
Partner with Finance and program leaders to collect, analyze, and report enterprise-wide community benefit data for regulatory and internal audiences.
Key Qualifications
Strong foundationin public health metrics, epidemiology, and community health trends.
experience in community benefit, health equity, corporate social responsibility, or public health program implementation.
Backgroundconvening andworking with communityorganizations.
Proficiencywithmanaging databases,analyticsand data tools, includingKPIdevelopment,andreporting.
Strong skills indigitalcommunication(websites and social media),meeting facilitation,verbal communication(presentations and meetings), report writing, and cross-functional communication.

Able to connect authentically with New York City communities; outgoing, approachable, andstrong communicator
Strong analytical mindset-comfortable interpreting data, reviewing public health statistics, and applying insights tocommunications andprograms.

Additional Information
Location: Hybrid;3days a week on site in Manhattan, NY withadditionalflexibility as needed
Schedule:9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Fridaywith flexibility for evenings andweekendsas needed
