We are seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant to join our growing consultancy team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for driving both strategic development and hands-on execution of marketing strategies that deliver measurable business growth for our clients. The role combines strategic leadership, client development, and product innovation.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for clients in a range of industries. Both on an overall level, and on strategically important marketing development project.

These could include, but are not limited to:

• Strategic client leadership owning the overall relationship and driving the agenda
• Develop and implement client growth plans
• Drive development and deployment of new product areas to meet current and anticipated client needs
• Take a lead role in product development and participate in relevant new business projects
• Work with clients to define measurement frameworks and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that media, campaign, and marketing are aligned with business goals
• Be an active thought leader within your subject matter
• Position and sell strategic projects across our client portfolio
• Full responsibility for strategic resource planning and project management across key client portfolios
• Lead development and execution of marketing strategies across industries
• Provide strategic leadership and knowledge sharing both internally and with clients

Requirements:

We are looking for an addition to our team, a team that jointly deliver on the following requirements:

• Proven track record of driving business growth through marketing initiatives
• Strong specialist expertise in marketing strategy and digital transformation
• Experience leading and developing client relationships at senior level
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable marketing strategies
• Communicate to clients across all levels, able to unpack complex information in a clear and digestible manner
• Ability to deliver actionable next steps for downstream communications briefs
• Ability to create roadmaps of activity for upstream business needs
• General ability to organize and direct different skill sets with a clear and actionable objective
• Impact our client’s business as well as drive Wavemaker’s internal strategic ambition of becoming a business growth focused, marketing services consultancy
• Number of years’ experience isn’t key, but on average we assume +8 years’

Personal qualifications:

The most important is that you have fun solving client challenges, are prepared to look beyond set frameworks and are motivated to take things beyond a PowerPoint presentation. You love going down rabbit holes and are just as interested in people as you are in how businesses work.
