Background:
Farsight Africa Group is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Revenue Management (ORM) Software Developer to design, develop, and implement Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions. The role will support the organization’s revenue management processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with business requirements.
Objective:
To develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions that enhance revenue management efficiency, system integrations, and business compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis and Design:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for revenue management and billing systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
Software Development:
• Develop, customize, and enhance Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using PL/SQL, Java, or other relevant technologies.
• Implement integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
System Configuration and Customization:
• Configure ORMB modules to align with business processes.
• Customize workflows, rules, and algorithms to meet specific business needs.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues during testing and post-deployment.
Deployment and Support:
• Lead the deployment of ORMB solutions in production environments.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and optimize code and configurations for better efficiency.
Documentation:
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Maintain documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations.
Mentorship and Collaboration:
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and QA teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) development.
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle Database.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and SOA Suite.
• Knowledge of revenue management processes and billing systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Oracle Fusion Middleware) are a plus.
Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in debugging and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP).
