Senior Planning Consultant – Environmental ConsultancyLocation: Irvine, Ayrshire / Hybrid WorkingSalary: Circa £45,000 – £55,000 dependant on experience plus package including;– Company pension.

– Flexible workingSummaryA successful planning and environmental consultancy specialising in land and building projects within housing, renewables, community and recreation is looking to hire a talented Planning Consultant who enjoys taking responsibility and leading projects.Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role will require an excellent eye for detail in reviewing and approving submissions of EIA and non-EIA planning applications.They are seeking an individual who can prepare quotations/proposals, manage subcontractors and deliver projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, report-writing and project management skills, and have a proven ability to run and contribute to medium to large-scale complex projects whilst producing high-quality results.Skillset And Qualifications– A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, or similar.
– 5+ years professional experience.
– Experience of preparing and editing documents for submission to planning
– authorities.
– Project delivery, office and site experience.
– Proven experience of working on projects at all development stages, the capability to
– run complex projects and delivery of high-quality results.
– Experience of the UK planning systems.
– Experience of working in an interdisciplinary environment.
– Ability to write clear, concise and professional reports.
– Strong IT skills, with experience of using all MS office applications.
– Excellent communication skills and English language skills
– Full, clean driving licence.Desirable– Chartered member status of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or working towards).
