• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive modelling programme focused on livestock viruses
• Collaborate with field and laboratory scientists to identify key research questions
• Develop and apply mathematical modelling methodologies
• Writing small scale grants
• Providing statistics and advice Working independently on projects
• Potential to be line managing and leading a small team

Requirements:

• Proven experience with mathematical modelling techniques
• PhD or relevant in biological sciences or with a substantial mathematical modelling component
• Three peer reviewing publications is essential
• Experience collaborating with laboratory and field scientists
• Experience of writing and managing small-scale grants
