WhatYou’llBe Launching

As a Senior Program Manager within the Program Management Office, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs that support Slingshot’s growing portfolio of government and strategic initiatives. This roleis responsible fordelivering programs on time, within scope, and aligned to businessobjectiveswhile ensuring strong customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.

You will serve as the accountable program lead, partnering closely with Business Development, Engineering, Product, Finance, and executive stakeholders to manage program scope, milestones, financial performance, risk, and reporting. You will guide a matrixed team assigned to your programs and ensure coordination across internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

This is a remote position supporting U.S. Government programs.

Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it)

  • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s mission, purpose, and values
  • Lead end-to-end execution of assigned programs, including scope definition, schedule management, resource planning, financial oversight, and risk mitigation
  • Own program financial performance, including forecasting, margin management, and revenue tracking
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, milestones, deliverables, and reporting structures
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and customer requirements throughout all phases of execution
  • Drive accountability across matrixed teams including Engineering, Product, Business Development, Finance, and external partners
  • Prepare and present program reviews, financial updates, and executive-level briefings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor contract execution to ensure alignment with negotiated scope whileidentifyinggrowth or optimization opportunities
  • Manage customer, prime contractor, subcontractor, and partner relationships tomaintainstrong, trusted partnerships
  • Support capture and proposal efforts by contributing execution strategies, cost modeling inputs, risk assessments, and performance frameworks
  • Identifysystemic process improvements and contribute to PMO best practices
  • Communicate evolving customer needs and strategic insights to internal stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pre-flight Checklist

  • Active TS/SCI United States government security clearance and ability tomaintainclearance
  • United States citizenshiprequired
  • 15+ years of experience in Program Management, Account Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience executing contracts with the Federal Government
  • 5+ years of experience supporting business development or capture activities, including proposal development, cost modeling, account execution strategy, and performance metric development
  • Experience working with the United States Department of Defense, United States Space Force, United States Air Force, or related government organizations
  • Demonstratedexpertiseapplying program management methodologies to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams in a complex technical environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to senior commercial and government stakeholders
  • Ability to travel within the continental United States up to approximately 25 percent

Bonus Cargo

  • Master’s degree in a business, technical, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification
  • Experience executing contracts with Space Systems Command
  • Experience working with software development or multidisciplinary technical teams

Location:Remote

Salary:$120,800-$201,300

Classification:Full Time Exempt
