Join our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Site Based Senior Project Manager on the Operational Team and you’ll be a big part of fascinating, complex, varied and meaningful work.As a Senior Project Manager your role will be able to,

• Plan, manage and deliver the Project /Projects you are aligned to.

• Deliver the Power T&D business strategy and objectives on your tenders and outperform on key success measures

• Manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets

• Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for each project/tender.

What you’ll be doingTo make a real impact as a Senior Project Manager with us, you’ll need:

• Project delivery experience to make sure we meet high quality and safety standards

• Experience in Power/ Utilities within large infrastructure projects

• Strong communication skills to manage, mentor and empower your team

• The confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders

• Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects in budget

• To understand standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.

• Experience of Management and Delivery of high value civils projects

• Proven track record in tendering and managing complex projects, including sub-contractors

• Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and Financial control
