position Overview
This position will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and sourcing strategies to attract a highly qualified pool of talent to support the University of North Texas System. As a collaborative partner, this position will consult with hiring managers to understand business needs, build effective candidate pipelines to meet those needs, and facilitate the selection process for a variety of positions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and four years of progressive talent recruiting experience with a focus on executive candidate generation; or any equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of federal and state laws related to recruitment and employment.
* Knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems.
* Skill with office computer information systems to organize, store, manipulate, and retrieve data.
* Highly effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
* Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple assignments.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and trust with clients, peers and candidates.
* Focus on providing customer service and follow through.
* Skilled in decision making and working with confidential information.
* Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships.
* Must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates.
* Skill in defining and executing recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, sourcing and interview process management.
* Consulting skills and ability to work in a team environment as a team leader and member.
* Strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team.
