Salary: 110,000

Sr. Engineer for a 9 month contract role. Mostly remote but must be based in Denver Metro Area and able to come into the office on occassion for strategy meetings and white board sessions with the Product Owners and team members.

Building a new product. Alpha phase in Q1 2026.

You will work collaboratively with Engineering and Product teams to enhance product functionality and support internal systems maintenance. This role requires strong technical capabilities, adaptability to shifting priorities, and a commitment to quality and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute development plans for features and internal system upgrades.
• Contribute to engineering initiatives that improve the product and internal developer experience.
• Support peers through code reviews, mentoring, and pair programming.
• Break down complex tasks into smaller, actionable components.
• Collaborate across teams to clarify feature requirements and ensure shared understanding of goals.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully; embrace feedback and diverse viewpoints.
• Prioritize reduction of technical debt and contribute to system-wide maintainability and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable code with consideration for long-term performance and extensibility.
• Work independently on complex projects and help onboard or guide junior engineers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong .Net and Typescript
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions in a remote environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Comfortable with agile methodologies and iterative development.
• Proficient in one or more areas: backend (C#) web (Vue.js) or mobile development (Maui)
