We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Space Systems Engineer with deep expertise in ground systems and classified space control programs. This position provides direct advisory and engineering support to the Government, focused on test planning, mission operations, system integration, and technical analysis for current and future space capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory and technical assistance for Developmental and Operational Testing (DT/OT), including test documentation, planning, execution, and data evaluation
- Coordinate and support system-level test integration activities
- Deliver analytical and operational engineering support to both developmental and operational space units
- Contribute to mission planning, mission protection, and anomaly resolution activities
- Assist with post-mission analysis, reporting, and documentation of lessons learned
- Support data and signal collection, including processing, storage, archiving, and analysis to inform ongoing operations and future development
- Aid in shaping future concept development efforts as requested by the Government
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 10 or more years applicable progressively complex systems design engineering experience,
- OR, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 13or more years applicable progressively complex systems design engineering experience,
- Demonstrated expertise with classified space control systems, including space, ground, and command & control (C2) components
- Proven knowledge of space control-related technologies, such as electromagnetic spectrum operations, communications, and signal processing
- Experience in developing and managing technical requirements for space systems and acquisition programs
- In-depth understanding of electronic attack technologies and their implementation in system design
- Strong background in modeling and simulation, including model development and technical performance assessment
- Deep familiarity with classified systems engineering processes, including requirements development, configuration control, and Deficiency Review (DR) board procedures (establishment, execution, and management)
- Active TS, SCI eligible
