Arcadia’s London Centre is based in Bloomsbury where classes, academic programs, student life services and other forms of comprehensive support are offered to participating students.Job OutlineThe Senior Student Services Officer – Health and Wellbeing, works closely with the Deputy Director of the London Center, to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive programme of student support in the areas of health, safety and wellbeing. The postholder also offers support and best practice guidance in these areas to other Center staff interacting with students.The role is a full-time post. Due to the nature of the role, occasional unsociable hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required to be worked to support students. Arcadia London operates a hybrid working policy to enable staff to work from home as work allows.Eligibility:Applicants should have the right to work in the United Kingdom and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, skills and attributes.Essential:

  • Experienced administrator with good attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and university students
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception to fruition
  • Proven ability to multitask
  • Numeracy and fiscal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in speaking to large groups and leading workshops
  • Experience of providing pastoral support to students
  • Willingness to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings and weekends at certain times in the year.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

Desired:

  • Knowledge of UK public and private healthcare systems and provision.
  • Experience of organising events
  • Knowledge of UK and US higher education systems
  • Knowledge of Google suite and Salesforce
