In this role, you will not only lead critical projects but also contribute to process improvement initiatives that aim to elevate the way we deliver and manage projects within the NetSuite Project Office (NPO) .

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead high-visibility infrastructure projects like Cloud data center build-outs , service migrations , deployments , and technology upgrades .

  • Manage projects across multiple teams and organizational units using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies .

  • Oversee project scope, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery .

  • Influence and collaborate with executive sponsors , stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to keep everyone aligned and moving forward.

Key Competencies:

  • Proven experience with Agile , SCRUM , and Waterfall project management methodologies .

  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, including systems engineering, network infrastructure, disaster recovery, security, server deployment, and much more.

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, drive accountability, and ensure top-tier performance.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment , and effectively manage competing demands.

  • Experience applying best practices to deliver results and drive continuous process improvements .

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management and working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional, matrix environment.

  • Proven ability to present and communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Confluence, and Jira.

  • PMP and/or CSM certification (or equivalent) is a plus!

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Complex Projects: Oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives that span multiple organizational business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Drive Team Leadership and Motivation: Inspire, build, and empower project teams to achieve objectives by fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring each team member meets their responsibilities and project milestones.

  • Full Project Lifecycle Ownership: Take complete ownership of the project lifecycle from initiation to deployment, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously to ensure timely and successful delivery.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of NPO capabilities by participating in the creation of best practices, templates, policies, tools, and strategic partnerships.

  • Detailed Project Planning: Prepare comprehensive project estimates and develop detailed plans for all phases, ensuring clarity on timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  • Resource Management: Procure and allocate the right resources to meet project objectives within the designated timeframes, ensuring the optimal use of time, talent, and tools.

  • Day-to-Day Project Management: Lead day-to-day project activities, facilitating regular team meetings to ensure progress, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with objectives.

  • Comprehensive Status Reporting: Provide clear and concise status reports on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, keeping all stakeholders informed at every level of the organization.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Understand and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business requirements to ensure successful project execution and alignment with broader goals.

  • Scope and Risk Management: Take ownership of managing project scope, addressing changes, issues, and risks, ensuring that the project stays on track and within scope.

  • Effective Delegation: Appropriately delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their expertise and the project’s needs, ensuring a balanced workload and efficient progress.

  • Issue Resolution and Critical Path Management: Monitor, track, and control outcomes, proactively resolving issues, conflicts, dependencies, and any risks that may affect critical path deliverables.

  • Success Criteria Definition: Define clear success criteria for each project, communicating expectations to all stakeholders and ensuring that these criteria are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,300 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
