Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Shreveport, LA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Terminal Operator to oversee terminal operations and ensure the safe, efficient handling of materials. This role involves supervising day-to-day terminal activities, coordinating product movement, maintaining equipment, and supporting operational safety. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of terminal operations, leadership experience, and a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily terminal operations including product loading, unloading, and transfers
• Monitor and control product movement through pipelines, tanks, and trucks
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain terminal equipment as needed
• Supervise and train junior operators and provide technical guidance
• Coordinate scheduling with carriers, customers, and internal departments
• Perform inventory monitoring and reporting
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and operational reports
• Respond to emergencies and resolve operational issues quickly and safely

Requirements:

• Previous terminal operations experience required; senior or lead operator experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of pipeline, storage tank, and product transfer operations
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in an industrial environment and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
