The Role:

To provided world class “one on one” Guest Service in a prompt and responsible manner.
Delivers the “one on one” memorable experiences that create a sense of comfort and belonging for every guest every time by executing all tasks to World Class service standards.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of the VIP Server is to make sure that all the guest’s needs are met in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner.
• With a professional appearance, the VIP Server is responsible for responding to guest’s needs, requests, complaints, and other unusual situations.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests using “one-on-one” world class service.
• Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
• Reviews with Casino Host all VIP reservations, and gets familiar with the guests they are to service during their shifts.
• Works daily with the Culinary Department, to learn daily food items & how they are prepared for our VIP guests.
• Process guest orders to provide an experience that exceeds their expectations.
• Observes guests to ensure satisfaction and responds to additional requests.
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Takes orders for drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and garnishes and serves drinks.
• Maintains strict cleanliness of the Lounge by clearing dishes from tables within set timeframe, keeps food display and counter where food is served clean at all times and notifies proper department if assistance is needed in cleaning.
• Maintains a very clean & organized Micros station and rings in all drinks served to guests.
• VIP Server should arrive on time and ready to work.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and customers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of manager and supervisors.

Qualifications:

* Strong career background in guest service field is preferred.
* Two years food and beverage service, preferably in the casino industry or up-scale setting.
* Must possess vast knowledge of food & beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to include wine, champagne, cordials, single malt scotches, & aperitifs.
* Able to work in an upscale environment, in a friendly upbeat manner.
* Must be able to multi-task and work successfully with little to no supervision.
