Vehicle Service Advisor required in Trowbridge.

• SALARY: Basic salary plus performance-related bonus providing a £30,000 annual on-target earnings pro rata.
• HOURS: 40 hour week on a split shift rota. Week 1: 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Thursday with a half day on Friday. Week 2: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Our client, a franchise-approved car dealership located in the Trowbridge region, requires a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their business on an initial 6-month maternity cover contract.Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will work alongside another Vehicle Service Advisor, where you will be managing workloads and customer deadlines by allocating tasks and ensuring our client’s customers receive the best experience. As well as this, you will greet customers in the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle, and up-sell on additional products and services where possible.Do you need previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor? In short, no!The successful Service Advisor would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills along with IT literacy would be of high priority. Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor would be highly beneficial. However, our client is equally interested in Service Advisors with a strong customer service-orientated background and a UK driving licence with minimal points. Liaising with the vehicle manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs and a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous but is not essential.What’s in it for you?
