Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to support electric drive wheel loaders and drills across multiple open pit mine sites in the Southwest. This job requires a strong mechanical and electrical skillset to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment. In this role you’ll be in the field Monday – Saturday, 10 – 14 hour days.

• Maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of Komatsu Electric Wheel Loaders and Drills
• Able to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on heavy equipmentPerform troubleshooting on:

  • 24V and high-voltage systems (up to ~600-700 volts)
  • Hydraulic systems (leak repair, pressure testing, pump setup)

  Maintain and service electric drive wheel loaders and drills

• Conduct field repairs at open pit mine sites

• 3+ years of mining or construction equipmentrelated experience
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and manuals.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems common to mining and/or construction equipment
• Hold a strong standard for safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • Drills
  • Electric wheel loaders (e.g., 1150-2350 series)
  • Equipment formerly branded as LeTourneau
