The main concepts of calculus of one and several variables are studied with interpretations and applications to business and economics. Systems of linear equations and matrices are covered with applications in business.Lecture Section: LEC03: MON 7-9pm/WED 7-8pm.Course Enrollment (est.): 175Number of Positions (est.): OneQualifications: Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a Mathematics course at the university level (required). Previous teaching experience as the instructor for MATA34H3 or equivalent (strongly desirable).Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to course. NOTE: Course will have a course coordinator (department faculty member) who will teach 2 lecture sections & set the syllabus and coordinate TAs & large activities.Estimated TA Support (Hours): 55 hours per tutorial.Sessional dates of appointment: Sept 3 – Dec 31, 2024Salary:Sessional Lecturer I $9,457.90
