The course surveys the genre to analyze key texts that have shaped the narrative of art leading to, and including, the current discourse. Students both read and write criticism in the course, experimenting with voice, rhetoric, and polemics.Estimated course enrolment: 20Number of positions: 1Estimated TA support: NoneSessional dates of appointment: September 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025Salary:$9,820.70 for Sessional Lecturer I ($10,510.04 for SLI Long Term);$10,510.04 for Sessional Lecturer II ($10,760.28 for SLII Long Term);$10,760.28 for Sessional Lecturer III ($11,030.36 for SLIII Long Term), inclusive of vacation payPlease note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevailMinimum qualifications: MA or MFA required with teaching experience.
