Scope: 

Wirebound set-up team member, working with 1-2 other team members by performing  changeovers and set-ups of wirebound jobs in an allotted time frame as defined by the  production schedule.  

Role: 

Operate independently and/or with a team to ensure the wirebound machine(s) are set  up properly to meet the requirements to efficiently run the respective production jobs.  And meet the set-up time as allotted in the Bill of Material (BOM). 

Requirements: 

Must be able to follow directions and observe safety requirements 

Ability to identify and use basic hand tools. EG: Pliers, hammers, screwdrivers, tape  measure, etc.  

Exposure with use of power tools and pneumatic (air) tools. EG: Nail guns, staple guns,  battery powered drill  

Strong basic math skills EG: Understand fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication  etc.  

Fundamental understanding of how machinery operates EG: Mechanical & hydraulic  

Basic understanding of blueprints and quality requirements EG: Dimensions, tolerance,  1<sup style=”font-size:0.6em”>st </sup>piece submissions, etc.  

experience in operating a machine is a plus. 

Reliable transportation is required.
