Job Description
The Shift Survey Analyst integrates data from various sources including Fugro’s proprietary GIS, client documents, and public sources, prepares necessary calculations, conducts an analysis of survey data, and prepares client deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
- Integrate client-supplied data into Fugro’s proprietary GIS.
- Perform pre-job calculations for field data collection.
- Review field data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare post-job and final calculations to produce reports and maps.
- Assist in the production of the final report for a client.
- Assist the field survey crew on field assignments for project execution when required.
- Work with both Project Managers and ROC (Remote Operation Center) Operators.
Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
- Have 2 years or more of working experience in offshore positioning and construction.
- Possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Technical school diploma in surveying, geomatics, and/or civil engineering technology is highly preferred.
- Computer software experience with CAD Software (AutoCAD), GIS software (ArcGIS Pro), and/or Sector Scanning Software (MS1000) is preferred
- Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
