As a Level 2 Shipping and Receiving professional here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain and distribution network. You will be responsible for managing logistics operations, coordinating transportation methods, and optimizing shipping processes to guarantee timely deliveries while keeping costs in check. Your work will directly impact the seamless flow of materials and products, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. You will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Manager and you’ll work out of our Freeport, IL location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company by ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and optimizing the shipping and receiving processes. Your efforts will directly contribute to cost savings, supply chain performance, and customer satisfaction, making a significant contribution to the success and competitiveness of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee shipping and receiving operations

• Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective options

• Optimize shipping processes to minimize lead times and reduce costs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries

• Implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics operations

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of shipping and receiving processes

• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics partners

• Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on process improvements

The hourly range for this position is <$min 43680.00 – $mid 46800.00>. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (“PIP®”), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related roles

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documentation

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
