Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, precise and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our small close knit team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of all our goods from incoming ingredients and packaging to our outgoing finished Specialty Foods to our diverse customer base, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and perfection in shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various shipping systems including UPS World Ship and FedEx Ship Manager in addition to scanners, package strapping equipment, pallet jack and pallet wrapper, cardboard compactor and forklift.
Responsibilities
 

• Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders, packing slips and spec sheets.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by scanning, picking, packing, labeling, and documenting items for various shipping carriers as well as customer pick ups.
• Utilize pallet jacks and fork lift to move products safely within the facility.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RSS or similar inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and trouble shoot discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes for improved efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials to prevent accidents.
• Follow Food Safety Requirements and Regulations
• Production support including gift pack assembly and other packaging as necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to go up and down stairs
• HS Diploma
• Pass drug screen and background checks
• Have experience in this position
