Description

PURPOSE OF position: Escort arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner to/from the airport while driving company vans. Act as an ambassador of the hotel to introduce guests to our city. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Greet guests with friendly and sincere welcome. * Grasp, lift, carry and/or load luggage into and out of van.* Navigate bell cart through hotel and courtyard area.* Always maintain a professional image while at work.* Drive guests to airport in company van, and other driving errands as assigned.* Deliver gifts and amenities to guests rooms* Monitor company van maintenance requirements and communicate needs to management.* Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to understand and follow written and or verbal instructions.* Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English.* Valid driver’s license and good driving record.* Ability to read English language sufficiently to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists.* Ability to grasp, lift, and or carry or otherwise move packages and boxes and luggage up to 45 lbs continuously throughout shift.* Ability to stand, walk, and or sit and continuously perform essential job functions.* Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload luggage* Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances on property.BENEFITS:
