Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Apex, NC. Interested?
Here’s what you’d do:
- Ensure compliance with the site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and all applicable safety policies.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits of work areas, equipment, and operational practices.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Lead daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations; develop and document corrective and preventive action plans.
- Maintain complete and accurate safety documentation, including logs, permits, inspection reports, and training records.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to verify their safety programs and training meet project-specific requirements.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all safety-related matters.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify hazards and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Pay: $ 40.00/hour
Hours: 40hours/week (1st shift )
Length: Contract (12 months)

Required skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, on large-scale commercial projects.
Preferred skills:
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification needed.
- CHST, ASP, or CSP certification.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Minimum of 2 years speaking, reading and writing in English and Spanish.

- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
