The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Facilitate treatment and provide coordination of referrals and intakes, direct practice in the areas of group work, consumer education, treatment planning and individual counseling. Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, obtaining program insurance authorizations, performing intakes, assessments, initiating treatment interventions and crisis intervention. Participates in staff training and continuing education.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Master’s degree in Social Work
    • Valid NJ LCSW license
    • Previous psychotherapy experience

    Scheduling Requirements:

    • Full-Time
    • 40 hours per week
    • Day shift, may require some evening hours as well

    Essential Functions:

    • Conduct assessments, participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and authorizations for care
    • Develop and maintain working relationships with referrals sources; facilitate clinical staff meetings, case consultations, and others reviews. . Assist with coordination for services to best meet client need
    • Participate in program development with OPBH leadership including QA and PI projects
    • Prepares and maintains statistical reports and records as required by regulatory, organizational and official agencies
    • Provide group and individual therapy
    • Provides Program oversite for clinical activities, ensures adequate coverage, and works in collaboration with OPBH leadership
    • Supervises social work students as assigned
