Duration: 12 months+ Temp to Hire
Location:  499 Boeing Blvd SW Huntsville, AL
Shift: 1st
Payrate: $65-$75/hr. on W2 without benefits
Note:

• Must be comfortable working on-site.
• Must have a copy of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Must have active Secret Clearance.
• Do you have any experience/familiarity with Java J2EE or Java Spring and server side development.
• Any experience with software development  & management tools such as git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, and Eclipse?
• Any experience with implement MATLAB based algorithms into Java-based software?
• Are you comfortable in relocating own (If non-local as it’s onsite job)?

Role & Responsibilities:

• Work with other industry partners as a key contributor to the design and development of Java-based mathematical algorithms in support of the C2BMC
• Support full software development lifecycle including generating design artifacts, implementing software changes, supporting design and code reviews, software testing, and resolution of issues found during testing
• Actively participate in agile planning and execution using established processes
• Software Requirements and architecture development in support of MDS systems
• Develop, select, tailor and deploy integration and test processes, tools and metrics
• Execute and document integration and test activities and events
• Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science
• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

Required Skills:

• Experience working as part of an Agile team
• Familiarity with Java J2EE or Java Spring
• Knowledge of server side development and message passing
• Experience developing enterprise applications
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products
• Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking
• Use of common software development and management tools such as git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, and Eclipse
• Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and UML diagrams
• Experienced in the full life-cycle development of complex mathematical algorithms (such as tracking, correlation, guidance, battle management, and radar management) for Java-based military applications
• Ability to implement MATLAB based algorithms into Java-based software.
• Understanding of software development principles including OOP, design patterns, and testing/debugging techniques
• Security+ or equivalent highly desired.
