Solutions Consultant

The Job:

The job-holder will be accountable for providing technical consultancy services to commercial customers in specific sectors, such as SME and Education. The scope of consultancy service will cover a wide range of ICT solutions and Connectivity Services, such as Voice Communication, Business WiFi, Business Broadband, Networking and Security. 

The major responsibilities include:

• Provide technical consultancy services to commercial customers by understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Design technical solutions and prepare presentation material 
• Work with Product and Engineering to address special customer requirements 
• Consolidate the customer’s requirements and prepare sales proposal / tender response and presentation material on the proposed solutions to customer.
• Handle customer’s technical enquiries and provide answers / recommendations

The Person:

• University Degree holder or equivalent in Information Engineering, Telecom Engineering or Computer Science (candidates with 3 years relevant working experience but lower academic qualification will also be considered)
• Professional accreditations holders preferred (e.g. CCNA, CCNP).
• Candidate should have basic knowledge on Firewall, Wi-Fi Solution and Networking solutions
• Possess a can-do attitude, be prepared to think and work out of the box
• Self-motivated, result-oriented with good business acumen, analytical skills
• Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
• Initiative, well-organized and able to work independently
• High Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate has presale experience is preferable
