Services The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank:Under the direction of the Director, Transformation and Platform Services;Perform a comprehensive analysis of the existing application integration architecture within the Bank’s DatacentreCollaborate with the team to gather requirements and identify constraints related to decommissioning activities for vacating the DatacentreDevelop a sequence that addresses the identified requirements and constraintsProvide recommendations for technology platforms, hardware and software components that can be repurposed from the DatacentreDevelop a detailed deployment activity document that includes diagrams, descriptions, and other relevant documentationCoordinate the efforts to establish, define, maintain and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across the BankAssist with the decommission planning for the Bank’s solutions while adhering to the Bank’s architectural standards and collaborating with operational teamsPerform technical scope of work by analyzing requirements and solution architecture to determine systems requirements for decommissioning of assets at the DatacentreAnalyzes existing business processes and data flows to develop system designs, delivery roadmaps and integrations to other systemsPrepare detailed specifications for the decommissioning and disconnection of various solution components and make recommendations on acquisitions, licensing, and their related costs Provide time estimates for decommissioning and disconnection of environments Other related activities and deliverables, as requiredRequired Qualifications & SkillsThe Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:University Degree or college diploma in a relevant field i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field or equivalent work experienceA minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with all aspects of a project or product lifecycle from design and development to testing, implementation, and production with broad technical expertise gained through extensive experience in the IT industryA minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated extensive technical breath through comprehensive experience in the IT industryKnowledge of more than one design method and at least one discipline that is at the level of solutions integrator.Additional QualificationsThe following will also be considered:Demonstrated experience in the banking industry and/or government organizationsAdditional Requirements1. The Consultant(s) may need to have a computer or laptop that meets the following specifications in order to access Bank systems and applications remotely as required:Windows 10 with version 20H2 or later or a Windows 11 deviceRights to install software required for Azure Virtual DesktopAvailable USB A portHighspeed internet connection2. The Consultant(s) must have a smartphone which can support the Microsoft Authenticator application and appropriate Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity as it will be required for second factor verification to gain access to Bank applications.
