position Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Acute Care:

• Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.
• The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required
• Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a Post-Acute rehab setting is required

Salary Range: Minimum 36.47/hour – Maximum 60.21/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
