Description & Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Machine Operator in our Lancaster, Texas food processing plant. 

General Responsibilities:

• Manual stacking of cases
• Operating packaging equipment to build pallets
• Cleaning and sanitation work
• Constructing edible product
• Other activities as directed by the supervisor

Work Schedule + Benefits:

• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt) 
• Starting Pay: $23.00- 26.00/HR DOE

The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your experience and other job-related factors

• Must be able to work the following shifts which will rotate on a monthly basis: 
• 1st Shift – 5 am – 1:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
• 2nd Shift – 1 pm – 9:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
• 3rd Shift – 9 pm – 5:30 am (Sunday – Thursday)
• Department needs may call for weekend and holiday scheduling

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a meat facility, food processing plant, or similar warehouse experience (preferred)
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 35 degrees Fahrenheit and stand for up to eight (10) hours on a continuous basis
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
