Sr. AP Specialist

The Opportunity:

  • Reporting to theShared Services Manager, you will contribute directly to efficient financial operations by ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time

Key activities include:

  • Ensureaccurateandtimelyentry of invoices including resolution of complex transactions through trouble shooting and root cause identification

  • Track,analyze, andresolveaccounts payableinquiriestimelyandcommunicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders (vendors, procurement, business contacts)

  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounts payable staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment, as needed

  • Prepare and provide vendor statements, as needed

  • Generate and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements

  • Ensurecompliance with internal controls andconsistent adherence to the company’s policiesand procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Additionalqualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required,Bachelor’sdegree in a business-related fieldpreferred

  • Minimum4years of relevant AP experience or shared service experiencerequired

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracyrequired

  • Fluent in English, both oral and written required

  • Experience with SAP and VIM Open Textrequired

  • Proficiencywith MS Excel, Outlook, and Wordrequired

  • Ability to work independently, be proactive,and self-motivatedrequired

  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form and to collaborate and build a positive rapport with all levels of staff and management across functional areasrequired
