Sr Consultant – SAP PP SD VC Consultant

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP VC SD PP Consultant.This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Waterloo, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred:

• Should have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Variant Configuration including 2 full life cycle project implementations.
• At least 7 years of experience in SAP SD module including atleast 2 full life cycle project implementation.
• At least 7 years of experience in SAP- PP /SAP PP-PI including integration with other modules IM-WM
• Variant configuration setup: Define Super BOM, Super Routing, Variant classes, characteristics, Configuration profile, Object dependencies, Selection condition, Procedures, Variant table, Variant condition,
• Simulate variant configuration through classical configuration modular and Advance variant configuration, Variant costing.
• Configuration simulation – Simulate BOM/Task list, Simulation of costing for configuration product.
• Familiar with Dependency Syntax.
• Variant configuration integration with Sales, MRP, Production, Inventory stocks.
• Variant configuration for configuration purchase goods.
• Strong in-depth experience in sales order, delivery, billing, pricing, SD account assignment and revenue recognition processes and system integration areas.
• Cross functional module knowledge.
• Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution.
• Identify areas of improvement and share regular feedbacks with the team.
• Project experience on Interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP systems including iDocs, RFCs, BAPI etc
• Ability to read ABAP code and debugging skills is preferred.
• Good Analytical, Communication and Presentation skills.
• Planning and Co-ordination skills.
• Able to work and connect with the team virtually who are located in other geographies.
• At least 4 End to End implementation projects in the SAP functional Area included Team Lead experience.
• Experience in collaborating with site business managers and business process SME.
• Experience in Process Industries, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Xsteps knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the SAP module PP Including Planning, PI Sheets and Shop Floor Control, Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Certificates.
• Experience with SAP Consulting/Implementation or Support Management
• Good analytical, logical problem-solving skills with the ability to understand new tasks quickly
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Charm and HP Quality center test suite is an added advantage.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
