You will be developing advanced analytics, visualizations, and daily reporting. You will also evaluate, processes, and suggest improvements in efficiencies, as well as actively seek opportunities to analyze datasets and develop relevant reporting to decision makers. You will act as a problem solver for the team and to take an active role in the team’s success.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How You’ll Succeed

  • Data and Reporting – Work with complex data to deliver client reporting for various stakeholders
  • Problem Solving – Developed critical analysis and problem solving skills sufficient to interpret and/or analyze factual and conceptual information with the ability to interpret/adapt general procedures or approaches when formulating responses to problems/issues.
  • Innovation – A proven track record in promoting / seeking out best practice, implementing innovative value-adding solutions, demonstrating the highest level of due diligence & ability to design, implement and adhere to internal controls in a highly pressured environment.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate 1-3 years of experience (preferably working with large datasets and or MIS reporting). You have a high degree of competency in SQL +SSIS and Python (familiarity with R is also helpful). You also have experience with Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau (preferred), Qlikview etc.). In addition, you have demonstrable experience in FP&A and a familiarity with CMR/ESSBASE, OnePlan or similar.
