Sr. Financial Analyst in New York, New York

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in New York, NY. In this role, you will be expected to manage financial performance across various channels, prepare annual operating plans and long-term planning, and oversee important financial metrics. You will also be involved in tracking and managing expenses, partnering with the controllership function, and understanding business results and trends.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial performance management for various marketing channels

• Conduct preparation of Annual Operating Plan and long-term planning

• Provide financial and analytical oversight of all relevant metrics

• Carry out weekly reconciliations of Gross Sales as recorded in various portals

• Track and manage all marketing and warehouse fulfillment expenses

• Collaborate closely with controllership function to close the period and year end, prepare journal entries and assist with audit as needed

• Validate monthly closings data and analyze actuals comparing with budget, reforecast and LY

• Understand and analyze business results and trends for impacts and opportunities

• Assist with the creation of presentation documents

• Undertake special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in all Accounting Functions

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Budget Processes

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software

• Proven ability to Analyze Variance in financial data
