Regions is seeking a Sr. Medical Assistant with knowledge of basic patient care and routine medical, physical and developmental tests to join our Regions Cancer Care Center teamIn this position you will perform designated duties relating to patient diagnosis and treatment based on the age-specific needs of the adolescent and patient population served; to assist doctors and nurses in a clinic setting in the provision of general health care; to coordinate clinic specific functions; to monitor and order needed supplies for the clinic, to act as back up position to the front/back desk area, work with computer software database programs and to perform related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Clinic/Infusion hours 0730-1700

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
  • Six months experience in specialty area (e.g. Oncology, Medicine). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of medical assistant experience.
  • Medical Assistant Certification
