We do this by continuously innovating and ensuring that Service Cloud is highly relevant and top-of-mind to customers, prospects, analysts, and our internal sales teams.About the RoleThis is a high-visibility, high-impact role on the Service Cloud Product Marketing team that empowers you to stretch your strategic storytelling abilities. Your main focus will be on developing global messaging and positioning that sets the industry standard. As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager (Sr. PMM) you will be responsible for bringing the Service Cloud story and product innovation to life in keynote presentations and in analyst briefings.You will work with senior leaders across functions, and a world-class team of passionate product marketers will support you in your journey. This is a fast paced role that requires tight collaboration with PMMs covering our core Service Cloud products, as well as our Customer Insights, Customer Marketing, Creative, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Events, Campaigns, GTM, and Product Management teams.Responsibilities

  • Drive the messaging and positioning strategy for the Service Cloud product portfolio globally
  • Lead the creation of executive-level keynote presentations for premiere events, like Dreamforce, that engage in-person, digital, and hybrid audiences
  • Develop messaging /positioning frameworks and enablement materials for Sales and the wider Marketing team to drive messaging consistency around the world and across industries
  • Partner with Customer Insights to test messaging in focus groups with customers and prospects
  • Partner with Analyst Relations to create presentations for industry analysts that are designed to demonstrate our thought leadership and product innovation
  • Serve as a speaker coach for senior executives and other presenters by prepping them to deliver our brand narrative
  • Provide messaging direction and feedback on new campaigns, creative assets, and PR strategies
  • Conduct competitive research to ensure our messaging / positioning is relevant and differentiated

Required Skills / Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, content, public relations, or a similar field
  • Excellent storyteller – you know how to craft a story, engage an audience, and make the complex simple
  • Strong communicator and writer – you communicate clearly / concisely and adapt based on your audience
  • Flexible and cross-functional team player – you quickly adapt and have a proven ability to lead and inspire others
  • Executive presence – you can present to senior executives clearly and confidently
  • Creative problem solver – you’re an innovative thinker who knows how to connect the dots and dream up big ideas
  • Google Slides / Keynote / Powerpoint pro – you have hands-on experience designing impactful presentations and have impeccable attention to detail
  • Feedback extraordinaire – you take feedback well and know how to manage differing opinions to take projects from good to great to phenomenal
  • Project management experience – you know how to lead projects from start to finish and rally a team
  • Willingness to travel to support in-person events (~10% travel)

  • You have a B2B technology background
  • You’ve dabbled in broadcast, media, and/or entertainment (maybe you’ve written your own screenplay or moonlight as a content creator?)
  • You’re willing to push the envelope and try new ideas that make your audience say “Wow!”

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.
